Sunrise Sessions is ystark!’s weekly networking experience, bringing together professionals from across Stark County every Tuesday morning at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. This isn’t just about exchanging business cards. You’ll have opportunities to practice your pitch, build meaningful professional relationships, make and receive referrals, and learn more about the people and organizations shaping our community. Each week also features a local speaker who shares their story, expertise, or perspective to help you start your day with a new idea or fresh motivation. Whether you’re growing your network, developing your confidence, looking for new opportunities, or simply want to surround yourself with an energizing community, Sunrise Sessions gives you a place to consistently show up and build relationships over time. Looking to meet new people, grow your network, and experience more of what Stark County has to offer? YP Meetup brings young professionals together each month for a fun, relaxed way to build meaningful connections. Each meetup takes place at a different local restaurant, venue, or gathering spot, giving you the opportunity to explore new places while connecting with other young professionals from across the community. There’s no formal agenda, no awkward networking exercises, and no pressure to come with a perfect elevator pitch. Just show up, grab some food or a drink, and start a conversation. Whether you’re new to the area, looking to expand your circle, or simply want to get more connected to the community, YP Meetup is designed to be an easy place to start. Come as you are. YP Impact
Put your passion for service into action through hands-on volunteer opportunities that make a difference across Stark County. YP Impact brings young professionals together to serve alongside local nonprofits and community organizations while building connections with others who care about giving back. Each YP Impact event offers a different way to get involved, giving you the opportunity to learn more about organizations doing meaningful work in our community and support their mission firsthand. Whether we’re helping with an event, completing a service project, or lending a hand where it’s needed most, you’ll see the impact of your time and effort. You don’t need previous volunteer experience or a major time commitment to participate. YP Impact makes it easy to get involved, meet other service-minded young professionals, and discover organizations and causes you may want to stay connected with beyond the event. Give your time.
