Spotlight Stark County Application
A six-week program for younger professionals, age 25-34, designed to inform, inspire and involve.
Looking for a way to develop your leadership potential? The Spotlight Stark County program will:
- Strengthen your personal leadership effectiveness
- Introduce you to key issues, leaders, & places shaping our community
- Foster your enthusiasm for Stark County
- Increase your value in the workplace
- Give you a competitive advantage in today's economy.
Leadership skills sessions are facilitated by The Corporate University, Kent State University at Stark. Engaging community service projects complete the experience.
The 2010 Spotlight Stark County course begins with an orientation on Thursday, September 30 from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Classes meet on the following dates:
- Tuesday, October 12th, 4:00-7:00 p.m.*
- Tuesday, October 26th, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 2nd, 4:00-7:00 p.m.*
- Tuesday, November 16th, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday November 30th, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, December 7th beginning at 4:00 p.m. with closing program and reception immediately following.
* Light dinner included
Applications will be accepted through September 10th or until the class is filled. Tuition is $450. Partial tuition scholarships are available for participants from the non-profit, education, or government sectors. Download the tuition assistance form here.
