Tuition Assistance
Leadership Stark County is committed to assisting selected Signature class applicants with tuition assistance. The Leadership Stark County Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund typically provides up to 50% of the $2,000 tuition. Selected candidates from education, non-profit, and government sectors may be eligible for additional funding through a grant to LSC from the Deuble Foundation.
Tuition assistance is available to potential candidates, based on the following:
- Scholarships are available for applicants who demonstrate a need for tuition assistance and are employed by an organization through which funding is not available. Employed applicants must have employer commitment acknowledgment, as per the application.
- Assistance is also available for community volunteers who demonstrate a need for assistance and are not employed.
- Applicants must show leadership potential and commitment.
- Scholarship recipients must have completed the selection process for the current class, and have been accepted into the program.
- Acceptance into the Leadership Stark County Signature program is not based on financial need. The enclosed Financial Request form is not made available to the Selection Committee; the information is confidential and is seen only by Scholarship Review personnel.
