Advantage Program
For graduates of other leadership programs who wish to affiliate with Leadership Stark County
Who should join Leadership Advantage?
The Leadership Stark County Advantage Program has been developed for persons who have completed community leadership programs of structure and length similar to Leadership Stark County's Signature program and who are now working or living in Stark County.
What is Leadership Advantage?
Leadership Advantage presents an opportunity to attend two Leadership Stark County fall programs with current class members and interact with other community minded individuals and area decision makers.
Why join Leadership Stark County through the ADVANTAGE Program?
The Advantage Program provides participants an opportunity to build relationships and expedite understanding of Stark County's assets, challenges and resources. In a very short period of time, you can learn where to focus your talents, skills and efforts on the issues that matter most to you, your businesses and organizations. All Leadership Stark County Advantage Program participants will be considered Leadership Stark County alumni and can take advantage of the Leadership Stark County Alumni Association.
The next Leadership Advantage Program begins in Fall 2009. Advantage Program participants must complete the following criteria:
- Attend two Leadership Stark County Signature programs by choosing one from each of the following groups:
- The 23rd Class Stark County Day Program Thursday, October 8, 2009 or the Encounter Bus Tour on Thursday, October 22, 2009.
- The Thursday, November 19, 2009 Economic Development program or the Thursday, December 10, 2009 Human Services program day with the 23rd class.
- Submit the Alumni Advantage application including prior program information.
- Pay a tuition fee of $200.
Persons meeting these criteria will be regarded as full members of Leadership Stark County and entitled to all rights and privileges of the Leadership Stark County Alumni Association.
Alumni Benefits of Leadership Stark County include:
- Ongoing Leadership and Education Events (Networking opportunities through service projects, industry tours, educational forums and social events offered through the year.)
- Printed Alumni Directory (Includes all Leadership Stark County Alumni.)
- AlumniLink newsletter
- Opportunity to develop an exemplary network of peers
- Opportunities to serve on Leadership Alumni Boards and program day committees
- Recommendation for placement on community boards
