A successful Signature Program Opening Retreat was just concluded at Atwood Conference Center. The 40 class participants spent two and a half days learning about community trusteeship, Stark County history, community assets and challenges, and personal leadership styles. In a post-retreat survey, more than half of those attending agreed that the outcome of the Opening Retreat exceeded their expectations and the remaining group felt that the experience met all their expectations. Close to 95% of the participants said that will be able to apply what they learned at the Retreat to their jobs. In addition, the group had fun and got to know each other a lot better!
