During LSC’s strategic plan process, it was noted by industry and government leaders that developing a diverse group of community leaders remains an important goal to better our community. Scholarship grants helps insure that all segments of the community are able to take advantage of Leadership Stark County.
Why are additional tuition assistance dollars needed when LSC has a Scholarship Endowment Fund? The yearly interest income from the LSC Scholarship Endowment Fund is used for selected candidates to cover up to 50% of the tuition. To help ensure that tuition cost does not prohibit participation, additional funds are made available through grants.
LSC’s mission of bringing together a diverse class of individuals is assured thanks to grants and alumni scholarship fund efforts. Alumni volunteer for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival and the Stark County Board of Elections to help maintain funds in the Scholarship Endowment.
